Casting Call: Ibiza
This is the first time, I am writing a casting call in my blog. But as I am travelling so frequently for my projects, I figured, I could do this.
I am currently doing the final productions for my photo book. It is being published in November this year. My next journeys lead me to Netherlands and Belgium. But I already have models for the shootings there. Then the next stop is… IBIZA.

My Book
I am spending a couple of hours every day working on my book. There will be many unpublished series in my book and currently I am in the production of the final images. After this, the most difficult things are coming up. The selection process and the creation of a nice flow. It will keep me busy for a month, I guess.
The printing will be exciting, too. I calculated two months for it. I’ll post again about the progress in a while…

Phase One IQ250
Today I am test-driving the new IQ250 back from Phase One. It looks great and I did my first test shots. Most important for me is to try out how it behaves at higher ISO values of around 800 to see if I could use it indoors without flash. From my experience a medium format camera requires a whole lot of light but with the new sensor it looks like it hints in the right direction for my work.
The 50 megapixels are gorgeous, I must say. And I definitely would not need more. Preview capabilities (on a much nicer display than what I am used to) are excellent, too.
All I can leave you with is a test image as the nudes I am photographing are not meant to be published yet.

New in Frankfurt
My favourite lingerie boutique in Frankfurt, Petit Boudoir, just opened a second store. It’s located in Oeder Weg 23 (a bit upwards from REWE supermarket). As in their other location, Erika and Martina designed their space with so much style, it just looks fantastic. What I really love are the high ceilings, the wallpaper and of course, the lovely lamps. Not to speak of the lingerie collection.
Petit Boudoir is the place to go when you like to have a preselection of the best pieces rather than a crammed shop full of underwear. You can buy lingerie from my favourite labels there, those are the things you see in the images on my website.
So a big welcome to the new lingerie boutique in Frankfurt, Petit Boudoir II and all the best to Erika and Martina! Congratulations for enriching Frankfurt one more time with another great place to shop.
